Cuisine: American
Servings: 2 chicken tenders
- 5-6 store-bought frozen chicken tenders
- Cooking spray or oil
- Chopped parsley (garnish)
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with oil to prevent sticking. Arrange the frozen chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they're not overcrowded. Evenly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray.
Place the basket in the preheated air fryer and cook the chicken tenders at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Give the tenders a light spray on the flipped side. Cook until the chicken tenders are golden brown and crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
- These directions will work on any brand of chicken tenders that you would like to use.
- Make sure not to overcrowd the basket with chicken, they should be spaced out evenly. If you are preparing a lot of chicken tenders, they may need to be cooked in batches.
- Serve these with your favorite dipping sauce like dijon mustard, ketchup, ranch dressing, sweet and sour sauce, or hot honey.
- Chicken tenders are so versatile, they can be chopped up and placed in salads, pastas, wraps, and sandwiches for a quick and convenient addition of protein.
