    Air Fryer Frozen Chicken Tenders

    Get restaurant quality chicken tenders at home with this simple and fool-proof recipe for Air Fryer Frozen Chicken Tenders. The chicken will taste crispy and delicious on the outside and soft and juicy on the inside thanks to the air fryer. This versatile recipe works for any brand of chicken tenders.

    For this quick and simple recipe, you only need two ingredients: frozen chicken tenders (from any brand) and cooking spray.

    Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with oil to prevent sticking. Then arrange the frozen chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, and ensure they're not overcrowded. Evenly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray. After you flip them halfway through the cooking time, give the tenders another light spray on the flipped side, as well.

    Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a serving platter, then garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

    Ingredients

    • 5-6 store-bought frozen chicken tenders
    • Cooking spray or oil
    • Chopped parsley (garnish)

    Instructions

    • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
    • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray or brush with oil to prevent sticking. Arrange the frozen chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they're not overcrowded. Evenly spray the tops of the chicken tenders with cooking spray. 
    • Place the basket in the preheated air fryer and cook the chicken tenders at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time. Give the tenders a light spray on the flipped side. Cook until the chicken tenders are golden brown and crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
    • Once cooked, transfer the chicken tenders to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
