Course: Main Course
Cuisine: American
Servings: 2 salmon filets

Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon filets, 6-7 ounces each
  • 3 tbsps salted butter, softened
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for serving)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 400°F.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic cloves, honey, paprika, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix until the butter is well combined with the other ingredients.
  • With a paper towel, remove any moisture from the salmon filets. When they are dry, coat the filets with the garlic butter evenly.
  • Place the filets in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes at 400°F until the tops are golden and the filets are fully cooked. Serve with lemon wedges on the side and sprinkle additional parsley on top.

Notes

  • If using previously frozen salmon filets, be sure to thaw them in the refrigerator or in cold water prior to beginning the recipe.
  • Make sure to preheat your air fryer for this recipe. We want a nice cooked exterior on the salmon, and the best way to do that is with a hot basket.
  • These Garlic Butter Salmon pair well with grilled vegetables such as Brussels sprouts, asparagus, roasted potatoes, or a fresh cucumber salad.
