    Air Fryer Garlic Butter Salmon

    These four-step Air Fryer Garlic Butter Salmon filets are a deceptively fast and flavorful solution to “What’s for dinner?” The rich flavor of the garlic butter marries well with the delicate salmon filet for a quick and delicious main course. Add your favorite vegetable as a side and serve with some lemon wedges, and you have a feast for any night of the week.

    If using previously frozen salmon filets, be sure to thaw them in the refrigerator or in cold water prior to beginning the recipe.

    In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic cloves, honey, paprika, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix until the butter is well combined with the other ingredients.

    With a paper towel, remove any moisture from the salmon filets. When they are dry, coat the filets with the garlic butter evenly.

    Place the filets in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes at 400°F until the tops are golden and the filets are fully cooked.

    Serve with lemon wedges on the side and sprinkle additional parsley on top.

    Serve them warm, right out of the air fryer, and enjoy!

    What will I need to complete this recipe?

    You will need the following ingredients: 
    salmon filets, salted butter, garlic cloves, honey, paprika, fresh parsley, salt, pepper, lemon wedges

    What are the storage instructions?

    Any leftover salmon can be placed in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or back in the air fryer until heated through. Add some fresh lemon juice on top. 

    Should I eat these warm or cold?

    This Air Fryer Garlic Butter Salmon is best served warm, right out of the air fryer.

    Notes:

    • If using previously frozen salmon filets, be sure to thaw them in the refrigerator or in cold water prior to beginning the recipe.
    • Make sure to preheat your air fryer for this recipe. We want a nice cooked exterior on the salmon, and the best way to do that is with a hot basket.

    Ingredients

    • 2 Salmon filets, 6-7 ounces each
    • 3 tbsps salted butter, softened 
    • 3 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 tablespoon honey
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for serving)
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    • Lemon wedges, for serving 

    Instructions

    • Preheat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 400°F. 
    • In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, garlic cloves, honey, paprika, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix until the butter is well combined with the other ingredients.
