Burrata and Prosciutto Flatbread

Ingredients

  • 4 mini naan
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 8 ounces burrata
  • 1 cup leafy greens spring mix or similar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 

Instructions

  • Lightly brush both sides of each piece of naan with olive oil. Place on a grill pan or in a toaster oven until warmed and toasted. 
  • Place an even amount of leafy greens over each piece of naan.  
  • Divide the burrata into 4 even pieces and layer it over the top of each piece of naan.
  • Arrange 2 slices of prosciutto around the burrata and season with salt and pepper. 
  • Drizzle some balsamic glaze over the top of each flatbread. Enjoy 

Notes

  • You can experiment using the flatbread base with all different kinds of meats and cheeses. Soppressata, Mortadella, and other Italian meats would be delicious in this recipe.
  • You can add a layer of sauce like pesto to the flatbread for extra flavor.
  • You can also add additional vegetables to the flatbreads like roasted red peppers or sliced ripe tomatoes.
