    Burrata and Prosciutto Flatbread

    This Burrata and Prosciutto Flatbread recipe is as delicious as it is easy to make. It’s a simple take on the classic combination of burrata and prosciutto that you can make any night of the week. It makes a great snack, a great lunch, and even a great quick, summertime dinner.

    Buying the freshest ingredients you can find is really going to make a difference in this recipe. You can also experiment by adding additional vegetables to the flatbreads like roasted red peppers or sliced ripe tomatoes.

    Lightly brush both sides of each piece of naan with olive oil. Place on a grill pan or in a toaster oven until warmed and toasted.

    Place an even amount of leafy greens over each piece of naan.  Then divide the burrata into 4 even pieces and layer it over the top of each piece of naan. Finally, arrange 2 slices of prosciutto around the burrata and season with salt and pepper.

    To finish off the flatbreads, drizzle some balsamic glaze over the top of each flatbread.

    What will I need to complete this recipe?

    You will need the following ingredients: 
    Mini naan, prosciutto, leafy greens, olive oil, balsamic glaze, salt and pepper

    What are the storage instructions?

    Place any leftover toast into an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 1 day. No need to reheat, just enjoy the flatbread as is. 

    Should I eat these warm or cold?

    Enjoy these sandwiches immediately after assembling for the best flavor and freshness.

    Notes:

    • You can experiment using the flatbread base with all different kinds of meats and cheeses. Soppressata, Mortadella, and other Italian meats would be delicious in this recipe. 
    • You can add a layer of sauce like pesto to the flatbread for extra flavor.
    • You can also add additional vegetables to the flatbreads like roasted red peppers or sliced ripe tomatoes.
