Ingredients

  • 2 16 ounce buttermilk biscuit rolls (8 count each)
  • 2 tbsps unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 9-inch cake pan with cooking spray. To create a wreath-like shape, spray the exterior of a 4-5 inch oven-safe ramekin with cooking spray. Place it in the center of the cake pan.
  • Remove the biscuits from the packaging. Slice each biscuit into 4 even quarters and place into a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the melted butter, Italian seasoning and minced garlic to the bowl. Gently toss until all the biscuit pieces are coated in butter and seasoning.
  • Place a layer of biscuit pieces in the cake pan. Add⅓ of the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Repeat the process 2 more times until the biscuits and cheese are in the pan.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove the ramekin and loosely cover the top with foil if it is browning too quickly. Place back in the oven for 10-12 more minutes, until the inside biscuits are cooked.
  • Remove from the cake pan and place a small bowl of marinara sauce in the center. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • Place any leftover pull-apart bread into an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave until it is heated through and the cheese is melted again.
  • Loosely cover the top with foil if it is browning too quickly.
  • Feel free to experiment with your favorite dips in place of marinara sauce.
