Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and spray a 9-inch cake pan with cooking spray. To create a wreath-like shape, spray the exterior of a 4-5 inch oven-safe ramekin with cooking spray. Place it in the center of the cake pan.
Remove the biscuits from the packaging. Slice each biscuit into 4 even quarters and place into a large mixing bowl.
Add the melted butter, Italian seasoning and minced garlic to the bowl. Gently toss until all the biscuit pieces are coated in butter and seasoning.
Place a layer of biscuit pieces in the cake pan. Add⅓ of the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. Repeat the process 2 more times until the biscuits and cheese are in the pan.
Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove the ramekin and loosely cover the top with foil if it is browning too quickly. Place back in the oven for 10-12 more minutes, until the inside biscuits are cooked.
Remove from the cake pan and place a small bowl of marinara sauce in the center. Serve and enjoy.
Notes
Place any leftover pull-apart bread into an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave until it is heated through and the cheese is melted again.
Loosely cover the top with foil if it is browning too quickly.
Feel free to experiment with your favorite dips in place of marinara sauce.
