Chicken Bacon Caesar Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded 
  • 4-6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
  • ½ cup croutons
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup Homemade Caesar Dressing

Instructions

  • In a large bowl or serving platter, begin to assemble the salad by adding the romaine lettuce and distribute evenly.
  • Next add the chicken in two neat rows. Follow up with two rows of chopped bacon.
  • Add the Parmesan cheese in two rows on either side of the chicken.
  • Place the croutons in a row either in the center or wherever space remains.
  • Drizzle with your Homemade Caesar Dressing and serve.

Notes

If you prefer, you can use grilled shrimp, salmon, or even tofu as a protein alternative to the rotisserie chicken in this salad. You can also use grilled chicken or even crispy chicken.
We like to use thick cut bacon for this salad as it gives a more substantial bite. For a quicker option, you can use pre-cooked bacon or bacon bits instead of cooking bacon from scratch.
Customize your Caesar salad with additional toppings like sliced cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, or avocado for extra flavor and freshness.
