Pull a double shot of espresso, yielding 2 ounces.
In a shaker, pour in the ice, espresso, milk and sweeter if using.
Cover and shake at least 10 times until you notice the drink is cold and foam has formed at the top of the shaker.
Pour into a glass and top with the foam. Enjoy while cold.
Notes
We used regular whole milk in the recipe but any milk will work great. The creamier the better, like oat milk, coconut milk or even almond milk. You can get creative with the sweetener to make lots of different flavors or even just plain simple syrup. Or ditch the sweeter altogether. We love using a shaker because the ice really creates a very cold drink instantly. If you just pour it over ice and stir, you lose the foam and also it does not taste as creamy. We recommend pulling fresh espresso, but you can also use instant or your favorite way to get espresso.
