This Double Shot Iced Shaken Espresso is the perfect way to start your morning while avoiding a busy coffee shop. It combines full-bodied espresso with a creamy milk to create a foamy and luxe iced coffee drink. Flavor it with the sweetener of your choice to create a unique and perfect drink, every time.

We used regular whole milk in the recipe but any milk will work great. The creamier the better, like oat milk, coconut milk or even almond milk.

We recommend pulling fresh espresso but you can also use instant or your favorite way to get espresso, and you can get creative with the sweeter to make lots of different flavors or even just plain simple syrup. Or ditch the sweeter altogether.

Cover and shake at least 10 times until you notice the drink is cold and foam has formed at the top of the shaker. We love using a shaker because the ice really creates a very cold drink instantly. If you just pour it over ice and stir, you lose the foam and also it does not taste as creamy.
