Homemade Caesar Dressing

Prep Time10 minutes
Total Time10 minutes
Course: Salad
Cuisine: American
Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsps grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  • Taste the dressing and season with salt and black pepper to your liking. If the dressing is too thick, you can thin it out with a little water or more lemon juice.
  • Pair this dressing with the Chicken Bacon Caesar Salad or the salad or sandwich of your choice.

Notes

Taste the dressing as you stir in ingredients. You may want more lemon juice or garlic as you taste it and depending on your preferences.
WeI like to store the dressing in canning jars if we don’t use all the dressing at once. It will be good for up to one week if airtight and refrigerated.
You can substitute the mayo for Greek yogurt for a lighter version with more protein. It will have a different taste, more tangy but just as delicious.
