Ninja Creami Strawberry Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups chopped fresh strawberries
  • ¼ cup strawberry jam
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  • Place the strawberries into a mixing bowl and add in the jam. Gently mix until the jam is fully incorporated with the strawberries. Set aside for 10 minutes until the strawberries begin to soften. 
  • Pour the heavy cream into the strawberry mixture and mix well. 
  • Pour the strawberry ice cream base into a Ninja Creami pint container and cover with the lid. Freeze for 24 hours. 
  • When ready to process, place the pint container into the processing container and mix on the “ice cream’ setting. If you want the ice cream to be extra creamy, process 1 more time. Serve and enjoy. 

Notes

  • If you want some strawberry pieces in the ice cream, you can add some as a topping and process on the topping setting.
  • You can use sugar-free jam if you would like. You can also add in a tablespoon of sugar to the first step, if you like sweet ice cream.
  • If you want a really creamy ice cream, use only 1 cup of strawberries and add an extra ½ cup of heavy cream.
