Why The Seasonal Kitchen?
We wanted a name that captured the cyclical nature of the year: the seasons, the holidays, the harvests. Since we prioritize simple, real food, we thought we would good with a simple, straight-forward name!
Are you really sisters?
Yes, we're really sisters. Ellena is the older sister, and Danielle is the younger sister.
Where did you grow up?
We grew up just outside of Cleveland, Ohio. We are daughters of Polish immigrants, and we were lucky to grow up in a household where we kept up with American trends (TGIF, anyone?) while also embracing and celebrating our Slavic roots.
Who does the cooking?
We both love to cook and to bake. Danielle does it professionally, and Ellena...does her best. Ellena mostly works on the backend and maintains the website.

We put a lot of work into creating our recipes and taking our photos so please do not use them without our permission. You can contact us here for specific requests.
