    Chopped BLT Sandwich

    These Chopped BLT Sandwiches are a fun and flavorful twist on the classic BLT sandwich, perfect for a quick and delicious meal. By chopping the ingredients and tossing them together with a creamy mayonnaise, you get all the delicious flavors of a BLT sandwich in every bite. Plus, with the option to customize the toppings and dressing to your liking, you can easily make these sandwiches your own.

    We love the Brioche buns for this recipe but feel free to use your favorite type of bread, like sourdough, multi-grain or regular hotdog buns. And you can customize the dressing by adding some extra spices, like cayenne or hot sauce to add some heat.

    Wash and dry the lettuce and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Dice the tomato. Then chop the crispy bacon into smaller pieces.

    In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and lemon juice until smooth. Season with salt and black pepper, tasting as you go.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped bacon, diced tomato, shredded lettuce, and mayonnaise. Toss to mix well until everything is evenly combined.

    Divide the chopped BLT mixture among the four Brioche buns and top with the chopped green onion.

    What are the storage instructions?

    Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Separate the filling from the bread when storing to prevent sogginess. Re-toast the bread before serving again.

    • 4 split top, Brioche hotdog buns 
    • 1 large tomato, diced
    • 2 cups shredded lettuce
    • 8 slices of bacon, cooked
    • ¼ cup mayonnaise
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • ¼ cup chopped green onions
    • Salt and black pepper, to taste

    Instructions

    • Toast the Brioche buns until they have a nice golden color. Set aside.
    • Wash and dry the lettuce. Chop it into bite-sized pieces.
    • Dice the tomato. Then chop the crispy bacon into smaller pieces.
