You can have a fancy restaurant-style brunch at home any day of the week with this Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast recipe! Using quality, easy to find ingredients, this delicious avocado toast can be customized any way you’d like. The Pickled Red Onions and capers add a really nice hint of acidity to the richness of the salmon and the avocado. Brush the tops of the sourdough bread with olive oil and toast on a grill pan or in a toaster oven until the bread is crisp.
Cut the avocados, remove the pit, and place the flesh into a mixing bowl. Add the lime juice and season with salt and pepper. Lightly mash the avocados while still leaving some chunks.
